Community Matters

LAMONT LAW SUPPORTS MANY LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS.

At Lamont Law, we have built our reputation on doing the right thing for those experiencing tough times, so it is no surprise that we are as committed to our wider community as we are to our individual clients and their families.

From local hospitals, the Hamilton Art Gallery and CityKidz to Hamilton Food Share and the YMCA, we are active contributors to programming, events and capital campaigns that make life easier and better for those in need. An avid runner and sports enthusiast, Michael Lamont is a major sponsor of several road races in Hamilton, including the Hamilton Harriers Boxing Day Run. We are especially proud to support organizations that provide services to our clients, including St. Joseph Hospital’s new state-of-the-art surgical centre.

At Lamont Law, we are there for you…your family…and the community we all share.

Michael Lamont
Recipient of the 2016 John F. Evans Award of Community Distinction

“Mike is a worthy recipient of the award. His support and commitment to the United Way and many other charities in our community is quite simply remarkable. The committee looks forward to presenting the award to Michael. He really is a great proof that lawyers care.”

– United Way Legal Luncheon Committee

“St. Joe’s is just one of many charities that the Lamont Law office supports. Michael’s sister-in-law, Darlene Lamont, wears many hats at the office, including executive assistant, marketing guru, and charitable giving coordinator. She makes sure their gifts are having an impact on the community by selecting causes that are close to both of their hearts: poverty, hunger, youth, healthcare, the arts and education. ‘We love this city,’ she says. ‘And it needs our support.’”
